Raleigh's glasses

Raleigh found a pair of glasses that his Grandma Wanda gifted him with after her vacation this past summer. I love it when he finds toys that he hasn't played with in a while and then he decides that he needs to have that toy with him everywhere he goes. It's quite funny.

And of course, we have more pictures of Raleigh holding Leah.

Above: Raleigh says, "Oh, my adorable sister, you're cute when you're not crying."

Below: Raleigh touches his sister's hand, marveling at how small it is.

Above: Raleigh says, "Girl, just know that you're not touching my trains."

Below: Leah says, "Boy, you know I'll get whatever I want. Talk to the hand."

And a cute picture of Leah napping in her swing.

Leah's 2 week check-up

Leah's visit to the doctor went very well today. She's already gained 1 lb and .4 inches since birth.
She is now 8 lbs 6 oz and 19.5 inches long.

We got some rare pics of me with both kiddies.

Above: Raleigh climbed into the chair with Leah and me this morning. Dad prompted him to give Leah a kiss.
Below: Raleigh was brushing his teeth while watching Thomas videos online, and I was holding Leah last night before Raleigh's bed time.

Leah's photoshoot

In the past two days or so, I think both my mom and my mother-in-law have implied that I'm not taking enough pictures of Leah. Which I agree with. I took so much more of Raleigh because everything was so new to me.

And this time, with Raleigh also, it's more difficult to find time to blog or take pictures. But today, I took some time to have a little photo shoot with Leah while Josh and Raleigh were at the YMCA.
Above: Leah's feet and long toes.
Below: Leah in the cute knitted jacket that her Grandma Deb made her.

Above: Leah in her cute girly outfit. I think the shirt is from Chelsea and the pants and socks from her Grandma Deb.
Below: Leah grabbed hold of my hair during our photoshoot. Not sure how much longer I can keep this length of hair.

Above: Adorable close-up of my little girl. ( I've been told that everyone likes pictures of her with her eyes open)

Brother and Sister

Grandma Wanda asked for picture of Raleigh holding Leah where you can see both of their faces clearly. So, here it is :)

Girly girl dressed in pink

I gave Leah some floor time today while Raleigh was napping. She still has a head of hair and it still seems to have a reddish tint to it. She barely cries and is really an ideal newborn right now. I hope that it stays that way. Her umbilical cord fell off today. That's almost a week earlier than Raleigh lost his.

This is Leah on her new blanket from her Aunt Chelsea. We'll copy Lanae's idea and take a picture of her every so often on the same blanket so that you can see how much she changing.

Brother and sister

Raleigh has asked to hold Leah on three separate occasions now. I've gotten a picture of each one so far.

Moby wraps

I happened to have a lot of orange fabric left over from a project that I worked on years ago (for those of you who visited my college apartment, doesn't this fabric remind you of my curtains in that old apartment?), so I decided to make a moby wrap.

Josh tested it out on Raleigh first. I have to admit that it was pretty hilarious to see him put the wrap on, and then put Raleigh in it.

Then, I tested it out on Leah. (Sorry for the blurry picture, my camera's self timer and I don't always get along)

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it...except for the color. Leah was comfy enough in it but I'm not sure that I'll venture out into public wearing this blaze orange contraption.
