Finally! I'm posting a video. Here's the catch...it's not really new footage. I know, you can all shake your heads at me.
I promise, I'll post new footage soon.

My mother-in-law knitted these fingerless gloves for me for my birthday. Aren't they cute!
I knitted this hat while Josh and his dad watched a "Talking Heads" concert on Netflix.
Earlier that night, Josh and I went to see "The Golden Compass" with Jamie, Chelsea, and Erika. This hat pattern is similar to the pattern worn by the lead child actress "Lyra" in that movie.
When we first bought our house, the room that Raleigh is in now, didn't have a door. Looking back, we should have made them install one, but oh well.
After a lot of work on it, and some oopses along the way, Raleigh has a door now.
It started out with Raleigh opening up his one present (From Great Grandpa and Grandma V.)
It was an adorable Osh Kosh red hooded sweatshirt.
Then we headed over to Erika and Joel's for brunch. Raleigh got to try on the hand knit Dale of Norway sweater that Grandma Deb made for him.
We spent the rest of the day at Erika and Joel's. We were continually trying to keep Raleigh from climbing the stairs.
Raleigh also got some socializing in with Robin and Ryan's baby boy Adam. (www.rfriedr.blogspot.com)
The adults played a fun game of cards.
Whenever Raleigh did make his way upstairs, he found his way to Joel's drum set.
Later in the day, we all got to open our secret santa presents.
Raleigh got some books from Joel and Erika.
Joel received a handmade wool wall hanging from Chelsea and Jamie
Chelsea received some hand knit socks from Deb.
Erika received some candle holders for her mantel from me.
Deb received a book and a calendar from Erika.
Joel got me a subscription to "Organize" magazine and some chocolates. (He knows my weaknesses, magazines and chocolate)
Chelsea and Jamie are helping Raleigh read his new Dog book that he got from Erika and Joel.
We're up bright and early this morning. Raleigh's drinking milk, Grandma Deb is still laying on the couch were she was sleeping, and Josh is sitting on the coffee table telling Grandma Deb about the Madden football game he played on X-box last night.
And you can probably tell where I am :)
Raleigh got a tricycle from Deb and Steve.
Last night, we all had fun playing with Dublos (bigger legos). Erika made some pretty cool creatures.
There also was a ball to play with.
Joel did a little dance.
Oh, and I made chocolate chip scones from scratch.
It seems that animals love our house. For example...
This morning we had a reindeer in the house.
and yesterday, we had a monkey in the house.
We still have the box that our TV came in and Raleigh loves to play in it.
Grandma Deb brought a blow-up basketball hoop and oversized blow-up basketball for Raleigh to play with. In this picture, Raleigh seems to be playing the part of the basketball.
We just got back from spending hours and hours at Erika and Joel's house. Raleigh was able to sleep upstairs in the pack n' play while us Adults carried on adult (and some childlike) conversations. All in all it was a lot of fun.
Luke and Karla are back in town and this time they're staying with Joel and Erika...it's ok, we can share :)
Karla showed me some of the photos they took of Raleigh when I was at work on Monday. One of the photos is with Raleigh sitting on Josh's lap holding a BB Gun. Karla is going to e-mail me that one so that I can post it.
Now, it's my bedtime. But first a note to Steve.
From all of us - "We all miss you and are looking forward to seeing you on X-mas night for dinner."
We took Raleigh to the skating rink tonight. He wasn't too sure about the ice. He'd try to get himself into a standing position but his hands and feet would slip all around. He liked his sled ride a whole lot more. Josh actually donned his hockey skates for the event.
