I'm not a chef....

...but I have fun pretending. Maybe this is what made my tummy sick yesterday and today...hmmm.

Ready to Crawl

Raleigh seems to be getting ready to crawl. He's pushing himself up on his arms more, and every once and a while his legs bend in as if to crawl. Yikes, we're going to have to baby proof the house soon! If you've seen our house, you know how tough this will be for us. :)

A fabulous art exhibit

We attended Chelsea's (www.funkyneedle.com) art show opening at a local coffee parlor and we had a blast. Raleigh got to wear his Uncle Jamie's hat.

And he got to sit on a cool chair appendage that seemed like it was made for him.

We got to look at Chelsea's really cool felted wool art.

There's Chelsea. You should really check out her cool web page at www.funkyneedle.com. Her significant other, who happens to be Josh's little brother Jamie, helped create the website for her.

Later last night, Raleigh got some tummy time on the floor so that I could take a picture of him grabbing his feet. This is a new developement in the last few weeks for him.

Adventures in Rice Cereal

You want me to eat what?

Oh, okay, I'll try it...

Yes, that's an interesting taste...

I'm not sure if I like it yet...
Yup, I've decided, I don't like it...

Oh, just clean off my face already...

Ok, so I ate it all, that doesn't mean that I liked it...

A few weeks later... What's that thing attached to your eye? I slightly recognize it...

Wow that gave off a bright flash...oh, I remember....thats that thing that you point at me all the time and then dissapear with into the other room. I wonder where it's been for the last two weeks.

A wonderful first mother's day

Josh, Raleigh, Winnie and had a picnic in the park. We did take along the video camera and boy did we get some great videos. I even got a video that I like to call "After the dog puked on Josh's shorts and our picnic blanket" video.

I'd love to post said video, however we're still lacking in the computer department. I don't think it's justified for me to download all of my video editing software onto my work computer. So, until we have our new computer, you'll have to wait to see anymore videos.

Here are some recycled pictures for you though. This is what you can do with Microsoft Word 2007.

One thing after another...

This is a bad month for electronic devices. First the washing machine's agitator decided not to work properly and I had to fix it by replacing the "Agitator Dogs." Then my camera's battery decided to die. And now, our computer at home decided to die also.

This means that in the next few weeks I need to do some research. Josh and I decided that we are going to build our own computer instead of buying a ready made one, which means that this task will be challenging. I will try to update the blog as I can, but without a reliable computer at home, I'm not sure how many pictures and video I'll have to show. If you want to take a break from checking blog for about a week, I doubt you'll miss anything.

I'll send an e-mail to friends and family when I am back to posting pictures of Raleigh. Thanks for your patience.

No, No, No, not another post without pictures :(

Sorry folks, my lovely Canon SLR Digital Rebel has a defunct battery. I am in the process of researching the purchase of a replacement.

It seems that I can buy a Canon brand battery pack to replace it for between $50-$70 or I can buy an off-brand battery pack for $13-$40.

In the mean time, I've been taking video of Raleigh and I haven't had the time to edit and post it yet.

My heart aches every time I witness a photo-op and realize that I must rely on my memory alone to savor the moment.

I'm so ashamed...

...up until now, I had always referred to myself as a geek.

Little did I know:

35% Geek

This will take you to an online dating site if you click on it, I just went there for the geek test...and I failed horribly.

Josh's New Bass

My father in-law just finished the first of two Bass guitars for him and Josh. Here are the pictures. I'm not sure if this is Josh's or if this is Steve's. Supposedly, this little Bass is supposed to sound very similar to the upright big Bass exists.

Oh, and that's my father in-law, Steve, in the picture.

Long time no blog...

...or so it seems. Sadly, I have no new pictures to share with you all. That is...unless you want to see pictures of the wedding that I shot this weekend.

I've been a busy lady. I'm writing an article for a local magazine that is due tomorrow. I have wedding photos to photoshop so I can give the bride her photos tomorrow (I was supposed to give her them today, but I didn't finish altering some of them). I also have a Tupperware fundraiser that I have to finish processing.

Talk about a lot of stuff. And what am I doing now? Yes, I am writing a blog. This is definitely the procrastinator in me coming out.

And between this paragraph and the previous paragraph, my mother-in-law called and asked me if I wanted a Picture from IKEA, a bunch of good quality yarn, and a coffee table that my father-in-law made. I said yes to all of course. And that is the pack-rat in me coming out. I have this small house, and it keeps getting smaller because of all this stuff that we acquire.

So, anyway, I hope that you all have a happy Monday. I'll try to get some pictures for you soon and maybe a video.
