Monkeying around

Josh and I spent our Saturday creating a monkey blanket for our yet-to-be born baby boy. This first picture is of the head before Josh stuffed it, and before I emroidered the face.



Hello Monkey! Notice that the main fabric for the blanket has bananas printed on it.





Here's a picture of my mom's old sewing machine that still works wonderfully! I can't believe I remembered how to thread the darn thing though.



We used lots of pins for this project.
