Mom's New Computer
So, after a long wait for Vista, we've finally customized and ordered her machine. Her previous computer was on Windows 98, which means that this computer will have be an amazingly different experience. There will be a steep learning curve, but I think she'll find that it is amazingly user friendly.
Ok, but why do I have her machine at my house? Glad you asked. We had the computer shipped here so that I could put a brand new clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on it. That way none of the crap-ware that comes with the computer is actually on the computer when I give it to Mom. And I will have to give this baby up when I go to my parents place for Thanksgiving. I will be sad to gived it up.
But in the mean time, I'm placing all of Mom's old pictures on this machine. That way she has them already organized. I'm having way too much fun already.

Raleigh and the Banjo
My in-laws were in town this past week. It was a treat to have them, like always. Steve brought his banjo (he travels everywhere with at least one instrument) and Raleigh had a blast plucking that thing. He also enjoyed scratching the head of the banjo with his fingernails. I took some great photos of Steve and Raleigh playing the banjo together.

All in all, we had a great week. It's always so much fun when we have a lot of family together at once. I also got some alone time this weekend.
I went shopping for 3 hours. My mission was to find a pair of casual dress shoes, a sweater, and maybe a bra. After going to Old Navy, Mourices, Macy's, Herberger's, The Gap, Victoria's Secret and some random shoe store, I only purchased a bra. But right now, this is the best bra in the entire world in my opinion. It is the best bra becase:
It is not a nursing bra.
It is not falling apart.
It is very comfortable.
It makes me feel like a non-nursing woman again. What? Boobs can be sexy? Really?
And it's simple. No frill, no fluff, just a comfy bra.
Yay for me and my bra!

Josh Is Old(er)
After dinner, we picked up his dairy queen cake and by the time we got home, my in-laws and their dogs were already at our house. Too bad we locked the door when we left.
Raleigh really got a kick out of the dogs; he giggles quite a bit when he sees them after not seeing them for even a few minutes.
I didn't take out my camera once yesterday so you'll have to be content with some more pictures of Raleigh.

Froggies, Letters and Numbers...Oh My!
Once and a while, I'll pull up all the froggies from the bottom and I'll throw them just hard enough so they stick to the side of the tub and Raleigh and I play "Get The Froggy". As soon as they stick to the side, he works hard to pull them off. I try to get them all stuck before he gets the first one pulled off. Bath time can be fun for Moms too :)

I Hate Being Sick
Raleigh is to the age now where everyone thinks that he's old enough to have a sibling and everyone is planning for me to get pregnant. This can be annoying at times.
Speaking of Raleigh, here are some adorable pics of him. In the last picture, Raleigh is walking towards me.

Halloween Party: The Food

Along with the sugar cookies, we had:
- Piggy Peppers (jalopenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon cooked at 375 degrees for 25 minutes)
- Olive cheese bread (monterey jack cheese mixed with mayo, butter, chopped green and black olives spread onto french bread and baked at 325 degrees for 20 minutes)
- popcorn balls (I'm never making them again)
- Carmel Apples (a coworker brought me some apples from his tree on Friday, they were so delicious!)
- All different kinds of candy
- Barbequed chicken sandwhiches
- Stuffed Mushrooms (thanks to SweetMarySunshine, she tried a new recipe and they were so incredibly delicious)
- Hot apple cider
- And a veggie platter
